Here are a few of my past puppies, and some as adults.  I have put a few pictures on here to help you determine colors since not everyone is familiar with the official color names.  Poodles are little chameleons if you didn't know.  You will see in these pictures the color changes that can take place from a poodle puppies original birth color.  Buff, Charcoal black and chocolate Silver/Blue and Cafe Au Lait. That's their grandma in the middle of the carseat to the left and their half sister in the back. Black & White Parti Red Apricot This is the most common shade of apricot Apricot There is a wide range of apricot colorations ranging from a shade or two darker than cream to almost red. White Black Red Chocolate Past Puppy Pepper featured in precious pets magazine. Pepper is Jet Black Apricot and White Parti black and silver phantom Silver & White Parti Black & Tan Phantom (born mostly black) Sable (born with the ears color all over her body and a black mask on her face) Black & White Parti, Red, Apricot, with Cream in the middle lol Sable. Usually turns to apricot with a black mask and ears like the adult above in the iron bed. White. White is much brighter than cream. Some people call this ice white. Black This is jet black Red Tiny Toy left & Red Toy right Blue. Blue is darker than silver but not charcoal black lol (born black) Blue Some blues are darker than others. Just FYI all silvers and blues are (born black). Silver As you can see silver is quite a bit lighter than blue. (born black) Apricot This is a light apricot, a few shades lighter and this would be cream colored. Black & White Parti's (yes she bought them all from me) Charcoal Black which is not a jet black but is still considered black Chocolate & White Parti Just fyi chocolate and white parti's do not always hold their chocolate color Chocolate Chocolates can turn to cafe au lait like the one pictured below here. Black with a white gotee and blaze Cafe Aulait after completing the color change from chocolate. This is always a possibility with chocolate poodles. (born chocolate brown) Cream with the liver nose but darker eyes than amber. (born light apricot) Past puppy "Lucy" and family receiving her second place trophy in the 2006 CAP gala in Houston Texas. Black and Gold Phantom Silver Beige Gray. Gray is a more consistant color than Blue or Silver which usually have darker ears than body color. Black with a baby doll face chocolate This is one of the few that actually stay dark chocolate. Most turn cafe au lait. Cream White, Apricot, Gray in a variety of sizes :) Jet or Ink Black Black and White Party Charcoal black with a white blaze and goatee Red with a liver colored nose and amber eyes Apricot. This is the most common shade of apricot with darker ears. Various Shades of Red. Not all poodles born dark red remain dark red. You should know this before purchasing a red puppy. There is no way of knowing for sure which shade of red a poodle puppy will ultimately be. The red shade to the left is the most common shade of red just FYI.
